Technology Transfer Office
The Technology Transfer Office facilitates the transformation of technology to commercial applications and societal impact through a wide range of services including educational and outreach programs (both within and outside the university), filing patents, managing trademarks and copyrights, establishing licensing and commercialization agreements as well as enabling the formation of new companies.

Big Bang! Business Competition
The Big Bang! provides a rich immersion for students, faculty, researchers and community members interested in starting or growing a business venture. In addition to the competition, the Big Bang! offers a comprehensive series of workshops for building entrepreneurial skills. Big Bang! runs October through May—get involved and start developing your venture or idea. The Little Bang! Poster Competitions help students define their business idea and communicate it concisely using a poster. This is an entry-level competition; no business experience is necessary.

Foundations of Veterinary Business
Foundations of Veterinary Business is a summer program co-sponsored by the Graduate School of Management and UC Davis Veterinary Medicine. This innovative series has been designed to provide you with a solid foundation of understanding in four key business areas, including managerial accounting, finance, marketing, and strategy and human resources. The program combines essential business theory with practical applications for success in the veterinary profession.
National Veterinary Entrepreneurship Academy
The National Veterinary Entrepreneurship Academy is a summer program designed to help faculty, postdocs and students gain the knowledge and networks needed to identify, develop and validate the commercial potential of their research or idea. The academy is presented by the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and the Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
