Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (SVECCS) is excited to announce our very first ECC-focused diversity and wellness Q&A panel: “A Deep Dive into ECC: Uncovering the Field of Emergency & Critical Care!” The event will be held on April 15th from 5-7pm in Valley 1020, and dinner and goodies will be provided!

Please join us to hear from a diverse panel of DVM professionals regarding maintaining wellness and navigating the challenges that come with working in veterinary medicine, especially within ER and Critical Care/ICU settings. First, we will hear from Dr. Amy Grimm, a veterinarian turned life coach with Daring DVM, who specializes in burnout and advocacy for high achieving women and veterinary professionals. Following this, we will open up the floor for Dr. Jamie Burkitt, Dr. Caleb Kemnitz, Dr. Ally Gean, and Dr. Dana Broussard to answer all of your burning questions regarding life different settings: from addressing how a career differs in GP to urgent care and emergency to critical care and what life could look like when pursuing a specialty or heading right out into practice after school.
