We're sorry to report that we are pausing tour requests for an indeterminate period. We are still working on previously submitted requests and will do our best to match those requests with a guide if possible. The VMTH is an active, working hospital where patients are undergoing surgical procedures and receiving various medical treatments. Consequently, tours are by appointment only and must be made one to two weeks in advance. No tours are scheduled on Mondays due to the heavy caseload. We are also unable to schedule tours before 1PM on weekdays. Exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis depending on tour guide availability.
On average, our tours take approximately 1½ hours. The minimum age limit for tours is 12 years. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The group size limit is 12. If you have more than 12 people in your group, we may be able to accommodate you by scheduling additional tours depending on tour guide availability. Please submit a request in advance to make sure we have enough personnel to assist.
