[Canine Medicine Club] Dermatology Wet Lab

PLEASE NOTE: Student club and organization events are limited to current UC Davis Veterinary Medicine students who are registered SAVMA members. Additionally, many club and organization events are further restricted to club members who have paid their respective club dues.

Hello everyone!

Join us for Canine Medicine Club's Skin & Ear Cytology Wet Lab led by Dr. Catherine Outerbridge! Students will receive a cytology kit to collect samples from their pet (or any animal with consent!) before the lab. After preparing the sample yourself during the lab, you will then be guided through an analysis of your sample. There will also be a mini-lecture at the beginning of the lab about relevant dermatology topics/common skin diseases. 

This is a great opportunity for 2nd and 3rd years to refresh your dermatology knowledge and 1st years to gain some exposure to common dermatologic diseases before heading into summer externships!
